Dad Throws Daughter, Darcey Freeman, Off Bridge

In yet another horrific example of the Shared Parenting Disaster, a 4 year girl was thrown off a bridge and murdered in front of her two young brothers by the children’s father. Arthur Phillip Freeman, 35, suddenly stopped his family car – which also had his two young sons inside – and, with young Darcey Iris in his arms, walked to the side of the West Gate Bridge, just after 9 a.m. on January 29, 2009. She was thrown over the railing and fell about 190 feet to the water. She survived the fall, but rescuers were unable to save her. The father then took off with the boys. About an hour later, the father appeared at the family courts and was taken into custody. The boys were picked up by their mother. This father had shared parenting, and unsupervised visitation, so the father’s rights guys can’t use the usual nonsense about how shared parenting would keep the guy from killing the kids. There is nonsensical ideology being pushed that does not work. Children are not being kept safe from abuse. Sharing parenting does not work in every single case. In fact, it only works if the parents get along fairly well and both are responsible, which is not that common in divorce. In cases of domestic abuse, there should NEVER be shared parenting. It is a recipe for disaster. In this terrible case where the daughter was killed, and not the sons, what kind of selection process was going on for which child would be targeted? Was the daughter less important than the sons? Was there anger at females in general? What was the history of this family? The mother certainly seemed to be doing everything she could to keep her children safe, but the courts order women to turn their children over to the fathers in case after case like this.

Australia, as well as the US, Canada, UK and many other countries have had Father’s Rights Activists who have worked for years setting up these laws that endanger women and children. One of the worst changes has been taking children away from their mothers, which now seems to be routine based on the “research” (biased studies aimed at achieving specific results) of misogynistic freaks like Richard Gardner and his followers. When mothers go to court begging for protection for themselves and their children they are met with re-victimization through the legal system. Women are accused of lying and coaching children to lie. Sometimes women lose custody altogether and the children live with the abuser, while the protective parent is denied visitation. It seems there were a lot less children’s deaths when divorce meant mom, the natural caretaker, got the kids, and they visited dad every other weekend. And in abuse cases, when the mom was listened to, there was no visitation. This really works to prevent child abuse, and it doesn’t involve years of litigation, or years of therapy, or years of parenting coordination, and it doesn’t cost anywhere near as much money. The children are safe and happy when the protective parent gets custody. It’s so simple that it is hard to believe that this isn’t being done!

Don’t let this child’s horrific death mean nothing. It must be a catalyst to change the laws to protect children from family violence. There needs to be a sense of outrage that the courts are allowing these tragedies to occur with alarming frequency. Darcey’s death maybe the most recent in Australia, and so terribly tragic, but it unfortunately is not an isolated incident. The murders make the headlines after it is too late, but there are other tragedies that occur on ongoing basis like awarding custody and visitation to abusers while punishing the protective parent. The system needs to be changed. Forced shared parenting doesn’t work. Children’s safety should be most important in custody decisions. The truth of the matter is that men commit 90% of all murders overall, and they commit 90% of the familicides based on research from the Violence Policy Center. A young girl’s death: a nation wants answers

AS AUSTRALIA and the world struggle to understand the tragic death of Darcey Freeman, age-old questions are being raised about men’s emotional frailty and propensity for violent response under pressure.

Messages of anger, disbelief and shock ricocheted around the nation – on online sites and radio talkback – as Australians tried to come to terms with how a father allegedly tossed his four-year-old daughter off Melbourne’s West Gate Bridge. More than 1200 stories about the tragedy were published around the world.

Experts said that Australia had begun to pay attention to men’s psychological health in the past 10 years. But the means of screening potentially homicidal or violent parents involved in family court disputes was still primitive.

“A number of fathers involved in custody disputes have such a severe breakdown in reasoning and behaviour but it is not always predictable,” said Dr Jennifer McIntosh, a clinical psychologist specialising in high-conflict divorces.

She said sometimes potential child homicides showed warning signs. Men who were controlling and coercive in a marriage could snap after separation, and these were often the quiet types who played their cards close to their chest.

“To their friends and colleagues all can appear to be OK,” she said.

It has been recognised for many years that men suffer a deep sense of humility and powerlessness when their marriages fail but often see it as a weakness to reach out for help.

Laura Kennan, general manager of clinical support at Crisis Support Services, said traditionally men had been stoic in the face of emotional crises. In losing their wife, they often lost their only confidante and felt they had no one to turn to.

The service said more needed to be done to advertise counselling services for men.

In response to strong lobbying from men’s groups, the Howard government changed family law, set up Family Relationship Centres, funded men’s health services, and advocated a less adversarial approach to custody disputes. Some critics believe the changes went too far in men’s favour and underplayed the dangers some women and children faced.

Dr McIntosh said the wrong kind of help was still being offered to some separating couples that pushed them into deeply adversarial court proceedings which could tip an emotionally unstable parent over the edge.

Heather Nancarrow, director of the Queensland Centre for Domestic and Family Violence Research, said violence was always a choice. Some men killed their children as the ultimate act of violence against their former partner.

“The main problem is the Family Court process needs better ways to assess the risks to women and children,” she said.

Family and friends were trying to absorb the news of Darcey’s death yesterday. At St Joseph’s Primary School, where Darcey was about to start, parents said the child’s death had affected everyone in the community. “It’s an extremely sad time and we are very shocked with what’s happened and our thoughts and prayers are just extended to the family in this very difficult time for them, ” the principal, Pam Bishop, told the Ten Network.

Darcey’s father, Arthur Freeman, 35, of Hawthorn, has been charged with her murder. He has been remanded in custody until May 21. The court heard he was in an acute psychiatric state and there were concerns he may harm himself.

Blinded by hatred for Mothers and Children

Its a tragedy to find yet another loss by not just a parent that was involved in the family court, but a father of three children who chose his only girl to die in agony after throwing her off the west gate bridge.  After Santa Clause and his rampage, the man who killed over child support and another who had killed  three month old baby.  They all fathered, they were all in family court battles and they were all reported in some way with a lot of undue sympathy, the type of sympathy that the mens movements try to convey do not exist.  

   As the souls of those children float into the air, so do our future children whilst the fathers rights movements rage on.  I have viewed a few blogs and it does not surprise me that they fail to address a worldwide tragedy and hide under the cloak of avoidence…waiting for  the next piece of news that compliments their world view that all mothers are bad and if their children say that they are bad thats because of their mothers.  No responsibility for their actions, just avoidance and hiding until they think that people have forgotten.   They know that its a matter of time until their time is up, when people will start asking why they believed such rubbish, but until then, the beatings continue until moral improves.

Some of these men will go to extreme lengths to distort victims experiences of abuse.  A well known example is Glenns distortions and propaganda about Jennifer Collins an adult who spoke of her experiences as a child abuse victim within the restraints of the family court.  Despite the fact that all of the evidence is up on the net along with being granted asylum by netherlands because america failed to protect her, Glenn Sacks writes aggressively that she is lying.  It is all to common the attacks towards victims by these movements and the failure of the system.  Something needs to be done about this.

The contradictions that relay in their mantras are often that on one hand, they are all falsely accused and on the other they make accusations against their ex wives.  They all say that. “people lie in the family court and you can get away with saying anything”.  So how do they know such a perspective?  Have they had practice?  If there is anything, scholars and court officials have learned from the fathers rights plights is that these types lie a lot and believe that they can make anyone believe anything.  Some even receive quite a lot of gratification from it, believing that they could get away with murder as they could convince the public that children and women’s lives are not as valuable as theirs, reflective of the white supremacy values.  They lost their african american, aboriginal and asians as scapegoats so they come after the women and children with a vengeance.  

The largest disgrace of their work is that they used statistics of male suicide that are often from these cultures to fuel an already supreme existence.  Whilst the world is crumbling beneath their feet, they reach for the branch of denial that their fathers and the fathers before them failed the world with its industrial revolution and “head of the family” consuming all in its path and they still haven’t learned the old lesson of what greed for money and power reaps.  

Child ‘thrown’ from West Gate Bridge

A 36-year-old man has been arrested after a young girl was thrown from a 58-metre high section of the West Gate Bridge into the Yarra River.

Police are questioning the man, reportedly from Hawthorn, who was arrested in the Melbourne CBD.

The man, believed to be the father of the girl, was arrested outside the Commonwealth Law Courts building at the corner of La Trobe and William streets.

The Age believes he had gone with his two other children to the building.

A witness at the court told The Age that the man and his two children were in a “distressed state”.

The Age believes the family was part of a family law dispute in the Federal Magistrates Court earlier this week, and the man returned to the court unexpectedly this morning.

A caller to radio 3AW said he saw four or five police, including one with his gun drawn, surround a man on the ground outside the court building.

Paramedics this morning spent 45 minutes working to resuscitate the girl, aged about 5, who police believe was hurled from the bridge about 9am.

Witnesses have told police a man driving in the inbound lane of the Westgate Freeway pulled up near the top of the bridge and threw the child into the water below.

The girl was pulled from the water close to the western bank of the river on the northern side of the bridge about 9.15am.

Water police and air ambulance units were involved in her rescue.

Homicide squad detectives are travelling to the bridge to take over the investigation.

The inbound left-hand lane of the freeway has been closed for about 500m on the approach to the top of the bridge.

Fathers Rights Movement Must Condemn Darren Mack

Fathers Rights Movements

A lot of people have been concerned about fathers rights movements that have nothing to do with feminism and find a lot of what they are advocating for as something to strongly oppose.  Its because of the attitude and the beliefs behind it that is destructive to our international community.  Some of the people who have taken a stand against what they are doing had nothing to do with feminism but because they were extremely concerned about what this is doing to our children and society,so they became feminists.  Some did not agree with feminism, but recognized the need for women and children’s rights and how they have been at stake with the damage that these movements have imposed.  We all have different beliefs and attitudes which is what makes us all unique human beings and something to marvel.  It is when it is imposed upon others at the cost of their own, it becomes harmful.  

Here are a few things about FR movements that are harmful:

1. They support beliefs that justify and protect men who are violent towards women and children.
2. When there is a public outrage, they pretend it never occurred and attempt to delete all facts and evidence related to this.
3. When one person speaks out against their actions, they do everything they can to villianize and dehumanize that person.
4. They promote debunked philosophies that are designed to devoid all evidence of child abuse and violence against women.
5. They attack every organization that promotes protection of children and women.
6. They promote control of women and children to be seen and not heard.
7. They promote hate towards women and children as burdens to society and often paint them as liars.
8. They promote the notion that children are possessions without fully comprehending the responsibilities associated to raising children.
9. They completely vilify motherhood and anyone who supports appreciation of it.
10. They are against women’s and children’s rights.

Unfortunately, there has been a lot of unethical cashing in on the “fatherlessness” industry without taking any social responsibility for the consequences.  Because these bullies have attempted to dominate what represents fathers and exclude anyone who opposes these beliefs, the picture of fatherhood has become shattered.  The word “dad” now means “tyrant”.   

Control never truly works, we all learn to see through it and understand the chains that were place upon us.  The funny thing about people who use control is that they don’t want you to notice because they know thats when the game is up.  For the person controlling, they are caught in their own trap where they neglect control of their own needs to control the other person and in turn blame the control-lee of the consequences that arise from this.  

A lot of these men are extremely fearful almost to the extent of paranoia.  What they fear the most is that someone will discover them, expose what they have done wrong and use what they have learned about fear to fuel the fear in others.

Very few of these men actually let go of this inner cycle as they lack direction in how to exist in any other form, but instead attempt to mimic the representations of those who advocate for liberty without ever genuinely grasping it.  The solution unfortunately for these types are ultimately consequences: Learning that these behaviors are not tolerated by anyone and that if they indeed want to truly achieve a genuine “good Father” status with their children, then they need to do the work.  

Litigation nets $5m in unpaid support from deadbeat dads

ALMOST 900 parents, mostly fathers, who refused to pay child support have complied in the past 18 months after being threatened with litigation or taken to court by the federal Government.

More than $20 million in outstanding payments has been collected in 880 cases through the legal system since mid-2007, as the federal Government steps up moves to take deadbeat dads to court to force them to pay child support.

Litigation by the Child Support Agency has led to $5million in overdue payments for children this financial year alone.

Since July 1 last year, the CSA has targeted 249 cases, resulting in the collection of millions of dollars in outstanding child support.

This amount was in addition to the $15.3 million collected from 631 litigation matters in 2007-08.

This is a large increase on 2006-07, when $12.8 million in outstanding payments was collected from 479 cases.

Human Services Minister Joe Ludwig described the payments as an excellent result for children.

“While most parents do the right thing, the CSA will take Australia’s worst child support evaders to court and make sure they take responsibility for the support of their children,” hesaid.

Despite the Government action, child support debt has continued to grow.

It has increased by $50 million in each of the past two years — an average annual rate of 5.6 per cent.

Total child support debt has just reached $1 billion and about one-fifth, $231 million, relates to overseas debt.

Senator Ludwig said the Rudd Government was taking a tough stand on parents who did the wrong thing by their children.

“I encourage all separated parents who have fallen behind on their child support payments to contact the CSA and negotiate an appropriate payment arrangement,” he said.

Senator Ludwig said litigation was a valuable means of ensuring that people with a child support debt did not escape their obligations.

“It’s certainly a tough approach, but in some cases this is the only way to get the paying parent to face up to their responsibilities,” he said.

Senator Ludwig said that most cases did not reach court, as most parents paid their outstanding child support before facing the Federal Magistrates Court or Family Court.

The CSA and the Australian Government Solicitor work together to identify cases where parents will reach a pre-court settlement, so the debt is paid and legal costs are avoided.

About 40 per cent of separated fathers pay just $5 a week in child support.

And about 105,000 are suspected of using self-employment and cash transactions to understate their real incomes, so as to avoid paying the appropriate amount of child support.

The Howard government, with the support of Labor, changed the child support system to allow divorced fathers who see their children only on a weekly basis to have their support payments cut.

Enforcement of these rights will remove Incentives for divorce and illegitimacy, eliminate fatherlessness, reduce violence, reduce welfare spending; remove lawyers from family affairs, free police to fight real crimes, reduce the public debt incurred through attempts to replace fathers with government, restore incentives and vitality to our economy, reduce taxes, and enable healthier and happier children who grow up with a greater sense of commitment to the society that raised them. 		Displayed upon their site is advise that states, “Treat the child support agency like a robot, feed it one piece of information it will react. Feed it another it would respond again. Be polite and treat the operator with respect, it won’t be long before these conversations will be quoted back to you in court. Make friends with your case manager, they may give you some useful tips(off the record).”
		It further states, “I think Sue Conner is completely unbelievable. Her work is incredulous. She is potentially Dangerous although not completely irrelevant.”

		Family Law Web Guide The Family Law Web Guide also know as the Shared Parenting Council of Australia attempts to appear gender friendly, but their forums and policies reflect an extreme patriarchal attitude that reflects the fathers rights movements agenda. This is quite deceiving for those seeking family law assistance. As the diagram demonstrates, it is a hub for the fathers rights movements which is owned by Wayne Butler who calls himself, “One Ring Rules”. On the Family Law Web Guide Forum, he condemns the UNs report on Violence against women as “misandrist” and recommends forum participants to sign a petition against it.

		The Pedophilia Credo Another abhorrent pedophile activist who wishes to have pedophilia accepted by society as a norm. 		Pedophile Organization Symbols Pedophiles, to include those who sexually abuse children as well as those who produce, distribute, and trade child pornography, are using various types of identification logos or symbols to recognize one another and distinguish their sexual preferences. To specifically indicate the pedophile’s gender preference, members of pedophilic organizations encourage the use of descriptions such as “boylove”, “girllove”, and “childlove.”1 These symbols have been etched into rings and formed into pendants, and have also been found imprinted on coins.
		North American Man Boy Love Association(NAMBLA) The North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) is a New York City and San Francisco-based unincorporated organization in the United States that advocates the liberalisation of laws against sexual relations between adult and minor males – resolving to “end the oppression of men and boys who have freely chosen mutually consenting relationships”. NAMBLA also calls for “the adoption of laws that both protect children from unwanted sexual experiences and at the same time leave them free to determine the content of their own sexual experiences.” NAMBLA’s webpage claims that: “NAMBLA does not provide encouragement, referrals or assistance for people seeking sexual contacts” and that it does not “engage in any activities that violate the law or advocate that anyone else should violate the law.” NAMBLA holds an annual gathering in New York City and monthly meetings around the country. In the early 1980s, NAMBLA was reported to have had over 300 members, and was supported by such noted figures as Allen Ginsberg. Since then, the organization has kept membership data private, but an undercover FBI investigation in 1995 discovered that there were 1,100 people on the rolls. It is the largest organization in the umbrella group Ipce (formerly “International Pedophile and Child Emancipation”).
		International Pedophile and Child Emancipation(IPCE) The IPCE is an umbrella organization for pedophile activist groups. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, the movement encountered major setbacks in Europe and the UK due to a combination of events including the rise of the conservative political Right and the simultaneous rise of second-wave feminism that brought with it increased public awareness and concern about child sexual abuse, and decreased tolerance for child pornography.
		Bill Henson Bill Henson has been taking child pornography under the guise of “Art” for three decades. The exposure on his fame and the adulation to his work is a national disgrace. Displayed by the media as “controversy” was an understatement of exploiting children. It was also exposed that he would “scout” children with the permission of a government school to photograph them naked. Henson show charges “This morning police have attended the gallery and executed a search warrant and seized some items depicting a child under the age of 16 years in a sexual context. “Police are investigating this matter and it is likely we will proceed to prosecution on the offence of publish an indecent article, under the crimes act. “It is likely that a future court attendance notice will be issued for the offence upon the completion of the investigation.” “The child depicted in the image is female. We believe that the child is 13 years of age. The information is that the child … is not a resident of NSW and we have referred liaison through our child sex crime unit to liaise with the state where the child is believed to live.” More

Dehumanizing Motherhood

Discrimination involves the actions taken against those others based on the beliefs and emotions generated by prejudiced perspectives.

Dehumanization is one of the central processes in the transformation of ordinary, normal people into indifferent or even wanton perpetrators of evil. Dehumanization is like a “cortical cataract” that clouds one’s thinking and fosters the perception that other people are less than human. From the vulgar term, “breeder” to the subtle condescending references to motherhood that imply single mothers as societies burden rather than backbone.  Paula Caplan and Ian Hall – Mc Corquodale (1985) analyzed 125 articles from from nine psychiatry journals found 72 types of psychopathology that attributed to mothers.  This included:

In the book “Bias in Psychiatric Diagnosis By Paula J Caplan and Lisa Cosgrove”, it states:

“Mother Blame has of course always been a favorite psy sport: From the refrigerator mother who is said to cause autism, to the skitzophrenogenic mother to the mother who was said to inspire juvenile delinquency in her young”

Mother blaming has not been contained in the world of psychiatry that has formed the grounds for school yard teasing in its relentless pursuit to label all human beings in hope that one day the world will be dependent on the pharmaceutical distribution to cure perceived illnesses and disorders.  

In the world of politics, we have seen time and time again the battles between opponents over who will solve the burden of young mothers or single mothers.  The media has visually hypnotized the public with the perception that a single mother is a drug addict with a cigarette hanging from her mouth with a baby in the other arm.  In dramas about custody cases, little appreciation is attributed to her endearing sacrifice to her body, livelihood and well-being to give the child life.  Her contributions to humanity is reduced to nothing but a childish tug of war.  Truth be told, that it was never a fight between two equals, but an opposing battle between david and goliath as the struggle of equality for women to be equal to men was not yet won, let alone the rights of mothers who were well behind the status of women.  In nearly all cultures, men over represent leadership in law making, politics, workplaces and religion.  Mothers voices have often been hushed within these realms and the reflections of public perception is the key evidence in the harsh climate for mothers.

The effects of degradation and humiliations consequence ironically spawned the “bad mothers” we see today as the incentives for good motherhood to grow is scarce.  As pointed out in Motherhood: 

“They were wrong for working and leaving their children, they were wrong for being poor, they were wrong for leaving abusive relationships and maintaining the “status quo” that would have harmed or even killed them, they were wrong for nurturing their children(alienating).”

There is so much work that needs to be done in the area of mothers humanity and dignity.  If we truly value human life then we must value motherhood.  We need to cease blaming others and look for the true causes so that one can endeavor to solve it with integrity.

Motherhood

The campaigns for fathers ended up degrading and excluding single mothers from all walks of life. They were wrong for working and leaving their children, they were wrong for being poor, they were wrong for leaving abusive relationships and maintaining the “status quo” that would have harmed or even killed them, they were wrong for nurturing their children(alienating). A few years ago, I saw many grumpy mothers in the supermarket, now I see grumpy fathers – mothers were never any worse at raising children, they just did it more, thats all. The difference?

Single mothers are still being degraded no matter what they do and considering she has risked her life and body to bring each and everyone in the world, its about time, people began to show her a bit more gratitude and respect. Single mothers cannot continue to endure the wrath of the community for another lifetime, its bad for our youth and bad for society. It says to the rest of the world: “We as Australians are selfish and undeserving of the life that our mothers have given us”. 

The solution is that Australians need to be more aware of this factor. This also includes same sex parents who can raise their children just as well, but should not be treated like baby factories and have abusers walk all over them to resolve “fatherlessness”. Its about time these fathers learn to take some of the responsibilities as to why a mother might be apprehensive at contact for the child. There is a real undermining of her reasons with little and in some cases large amounts of evidence as to why she would sacrifice the little time she has to herself to have the children stay with her for longer periods of time. 

We need to ask ourselves: 

Why are we calling mothers abductors of their own children? 

Why are we looking down upon mothers for trying to bring food into their homes by working? 

It is no wonder women want to abort and more are choosing to have children later in life .

We didn’t just throw the baby out with the bath water – We threw the mother out too. 

Bring back Motherhood.
